28 Days of Gratitude Day 1

To mix things up I thought I would jump on the Thanksgiving bandwagon and blog each of the 28 days until Thanksgiving about what I am grateful for. I am particularly grateful this year for the people in my life. So  each day until Thanksgiving I am going to chose someone to write a gratitude post about. I will do this randomly, the order of the people does not reflect how much I love them or how much more or less important they are to me. I have been blessed beyond words to be surrounded by loving and kind people. Especially where we live now. There are far more than 28 people for me to blog about. So if I leave someone out, it doesn't mean I don't love and appreciate them. Hmm...maybe I shouldn't be doing this?

Day 1-

I am grateful for Jenn. Jenn is my friend and neighbor. She has twin girls that are Jack and Myles' age and I was so excited when I realized they live just behind us. Jenn is accepting of me no matter what. She's been a loyal and kind friend who doesn't ever make me feel judged. She helps watch my kids, she lends me eggs and baking utensils, she sits for hours with me in the sun and listens to me gab about anything and everything, and she hung out for my house on the day my piano was delivered so that I could attend a funeral with Kendrick. I appreciate Jenn and her friendship so much. I admire that she is not afraid to send me texts asking me to pray for her. I admire her honesty. I admire how feisty she can be about things she is passionate about. She works part time, is raising 4 kids, is on the SCC and PTA, volunteers in her kids' classes and coaches their soccer teams, helps take care of her in laws and still has time for her friends. I don't know how she does it all, but I admire that she does. I love you Jenn. I am so glad I met you!
